Safe Haven and Concussion Courses

AYSO Safe Haven and Concussion and Sudden Cardiac Arrest are required courses for ALL Referees.
These courses MUST BE taken on-line prior to attending a regional referee training course.
Instructions for taking the on-line Safe Haven course:
1) Login to sports connect account (if you don't have one create in one ayso106.org)
- if you're already logged in to sport connect,
2) Click on Volunteer Tab
3) Locate AYSOU Tab this will log you in to etrainu (you can find various courses here)
Including the referee in person class (training event calendar)
Look for Safe Haven training or Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest in the list, then click OPEN
4) Click LAUNCH on Introduction to Safe Haven or Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
- it's important to note that you may have to launch each section individually
5) Print out Safe Haven and Concussion certificate, Sudden Cardiac Arrest and bring it with you to the regional referee class.
- if you DID NOT pass the final exam, you haven't passed the Safe Haven training

Regional Referee Course Regional Referee - Online + In-Person Companion Course Regional Prerequisites to get activated as a Referee:
- Safe Haven Course
- Concussion Safety
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- SafeSport
This is an entry level referee course designed to provide basic knowledge of the Laws of the Game for matches 6U through 10U. It's perfect for the volunteers that are, or aren't, familiar with the game of soccer but have never taken a referee course before. The build-out line will be discussed and explained, along with other Player Development Initiatives (PDIs). There is an outdoor portion to this class, so dress for some light running Snacks and water will be provided Bring a pen/pencil and pad of paper to take notes
